I designed yet another No Touch Tool, did it retractable because if the areas that may touch contaminated surfaces are not enclosed somehow they may contaminate others like your pockets or your hands after it has been use.

This tool is like having a quick put-on, put off glove in your hand.

What can it do and features:

  • Pull / Push doors, trolleys, bars, etc.
  • Key turning.
  • Push buttons.
  • Pinch papers, like parking tickets, money notes, credit cards...
  • Carry bags.
  • Hang from metro / bus bars.
  • Hollow for use as lever.
  • Hole for wrist band.
  • Touching areas hide inside of the handle.
  • Works for right or left hand.

How to use it, see video here:

REMEMBER TO CLEAN BOTH PARTS AFTER USE.

You can download on other formats or directly modify the parts here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/eac01cf97f533234917eaf02/w/2d8de249796f50584331d61a/e/9537ca578b08e6115c593bf6

If you have any ideas about how to improve it, let me know so they can be implemented in the design. I have almost run out of filaments during this days, but still can do some iterations...

Print instructions

Print materials and suggestions:

  • PLA, ABS, PETG.
  • No supports needed.
  • 1.5 to 2mm wall thickness for strength.
  • 8 to 15% infill is enough.
  • Handle prints vertically
  • Hook prints horizontally
  • Tolerances are built in, but in some printers/materials you may need to add a -0.1 to -0.2mm offset (horizontal expansion, size compensation)
