I like the design of the original caliper mount, but I managed to snap a supporting vane off mine while removing it from the print bed.
I remixed that model to thicken those vanes slightly, and now I have no troubles printing robust versions of these in PLA, with these settings:
This model holds the weight of a regular digital caliper comfortably, when mounted with an M3 screw & nut insert from the original HSW model.
Printed 4mm taller, it can also comfortably hold two plastic calipers.
UPDATE-17Oct'23: Increased the height of the lip on each vane, to reduce the risk of accidentally knocking the calipers off the holder.
The author remixed this model.
At v1, thickened the vanes on the original model, which I found too prone to snapping.
At v2, also increased the height of the lips on the vanes, to make it harder to accidentally knock the calipers off the holder.
