The original E3D V6 thermistor catridge is equipt with a Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 connector close to the cartridge. Together with the E3D High Precision Heater Cartridge, which has the same connector, it is possible to swap the hotend without unpluging the cables from the mainboard.
Unfortunatly, the wires from the thermistor cartridge to the connector are so short, that the connector would be in an unfunctional position under the extruder, where it might collide with printed parts.
My solution is to place the thermistor wires parallel to the fan wires through the extruder, so the thermistor connector can rest right next to the fan.
As a side effect, when you grab the heater block with pliers to change a nozzle, or if you want to install a silicon sock, the thermistor wires will no longer be in your way.
This bracket keeps the connector in the correct position and makes it possible to (un)plug the connector very easy.
