Description

PDF

This was originally designed to fit the Ikea Lack shelf, though it fits great on the Ikea Lack side tables and coffee table as well.

It slides onto the Lack with a smooth-but-snug feel, and holds tablets with ease.

The angle is a fixed 15º from vertical, and the stand will perfectly fit an iPad Pro 12.9" and smaller (or larger if you're feeling brave).

Printing

I recommend PETG for this. I used Prusament PETG with great results.

Infill: 5-10% is enough (8% is what is in the G-code provided).

Print at least one each of Left, Right, Bottom Bar and Crossbar. It supports up to three crossbars, but only one is strictly necessary.

Assembly

Assembly should be pretty straight-forward. Use the below image as a guide.

A couple notes:

  1. It's subtle, but the rounded edges of the Left and Right pieces should be on the outside.
  2. The tolerances are such that once the parts go together, you may find it's very difficult (or impossible) to pull them apart again. As such, no glue or other fasteners are necessary, but if you feel the need for added security, CA (cyanoacrylate, aka Super Glue) can be used where the parts join together.
