Towel Bar Paper Towel Holder

When you don't want to leave a towel around to collect germs replace it with a roll of your favorite paper towels, suspended from the towel bar in your bathroom.

Print instructions

1. Print 2 copies of the Thumbscrew
2. Print 1 copy of the left hand paper towel holder
3. Print 1 copy of the right hand paper towel holder

There are paper towel holders for either round towel bars or square towel bars. Just the appropriate left and right models depending on your type of towel bar.

The round model should fit towel bars up to 5/8" in diameter. The square model should first towel bars up to 3/4" square.

I print them with a .2mm layer height and 10% infill.

No supports needed.

Add a raft if you have trouble with prints adhering to your build plate.

Once you've printed the left and right holder and two thumbscrews place the holders on the towel bar, thread the thumbscrew up from the below the towel bar and tighten them until they firmly grip the towel bar. Place a roll of paper towels between the holders just before you tighten the thumbscrews and adjust the spacing between the holders so that the roll turns freely.
