I had a few sockets I needed to organize and I had many holders over the years and they all were different. The cost to buy something new for all the sockets would have been to much money so this was my very first design to save money.

It is not complex but it allows someone to print holders for sockets for all the sizes ¼, 3/8, and ½ sized sockets. Also included are spacers that allow the largest sockets enough space to use the holders. If the socket is to large, usually ½ size, the socket holders will not connect so spacers are required.

I printed them out with black for Metric, red for imperial or US standard and Blue for specialty sockets. I used Polyterra PLA for all the colors and printed the studs that hold the sockets in orange so it would be easy to see if a socket were missing.  You could print in something other than PLA but I do not have to worry about heat or sunlight.

There is not much weight so I have low infill (15%) and only 2 vertical shells

You may or may not need the magnets to hold the socket holders down, if you do require the magnets their size is 10mmx2mm and they should press fit but I would suggest that you print out a few to see if you need glue.

I used these magnets from Amazon but any should work

At the time I did not have a .6 nozzle so all my socket holders were printed on a .4 and everything fit fine, you might need to adjust some settings if the magnets do not fix with a different size.
