Broom2brush converter

A handle that can be inserted in standard european broom head with a tapered thread to convert it into a brush to use with a dustpan.

EDIT: since the connector piece broke twice already, I redesigned it as a two piece part, connector_thread and connector_shaft. They need to be glued together just as the handle shells and the core.

Printing

• Print the core part with support and clean the edges, print the grip shells (should work fine without support, there is enough clearance provided in the design) and use some glue to permantely fix the shells to the core.
• Print the connector thread (upright with the hole up) and shaft (laying down on the long side for more strength) and glue them together too.
• I used two component epoxy glue.

Assembly

1. First you fit the connector into the broom head until you are satisfied with the fit.
2. Then you can adjust the angle thanks to the star-shaped design of the handle.
3. Fix with glue or, to be more flexible, with a M3 nut and bolt.
4. ???
