UPDATE [23.10.2022]

I got so excited about uploading this model, that I missed a few important things. I've since corrected the models available for download, so they should be the correct size and have suitable enough tolerances. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

About the model

Skeleton Kid is a mischievous figure that likes to play practical jokes on people, and isn't just for Halloween! They're often seen carrying a pumpkin, which isn't necessarily what it appears to be…

This is an original character that started life as a LEGO creation, believe it or not.

How to print

On offer are two versions of Skeleton Kid:

  • SOLID (but still articulated): parts suitable for painting or leaving as is;
  • ASSEMBLE: the model with additional parts for detail, intended to be snap-fitted but can also be glued. These details are for the pumpkin stem, eyes, nose and bones, which you can print in different colours.

I've had success with printing each model at 10-20% infill, with its largest/longest and flattest side down, which uses the least support material.

If you want to preserve the logo at the base of the pumpkin, print it lying on one side (ideally with the stem flat-side up).

If you like this model

Please show your support by giving it a like, and all that good stuff.
