UPDATE: 15th September 2023 - Thank you all for the positive feedback for v3. I've now removed v2 as a result.
UPDATE: 24th July 2023 - Whilst v2 was a lot better fit I understand some comments about smaller pieces going under the scoop. It's hard to avoid without fixing down to the base. I therefore looked at the design and have made a couple of small tweaks. Firstly, the base of the printer has a 1.5 degree draft, I have updated the scoop to allow for this. I've also made the leading edge as fine as possible but still prints cleanly.
I am releasing a v3 alongside the current v2. If you have v2 then I doubt there's a need to reprint. I hope v3 improves further and look forward to the comments. I'll consider removing v2 based on the feedback.
Thanks to all who have downloaded and liked to date. The makes are very much appreciated.
UPDATE: 22nd May 2023 - I just wanted to update with some more photos and an updated 3mf. I've also removed the v1 as the v2 is better hence I see no need for v1 to be included now.
The 3mf has the build orientation I advise along with settings for PLA. Printing on end is slower but it means you get the smooth curve and strength in the clips. Printing flat to the bed will result in weak clips. One Part is hollow as it doesn't need to be solid when printed like this. 31g of plastic is an efficient print. Hopefully the new photos help.
A simple two part print that forms a ramp at the front of your Bambu X1C making it easier to scoop out any stray bits of plastic.
I printed standing up with a brim. The reason for this orientation is to get a nice smooth wall.
split the stp to objects.
UPDATE: Thanks to feedback and the published P1P step I've added a 2nd version. This version is a tighter fit as it's slightly longer. I've also added locating tabs to secure it to the base of the X1 or P1P.
