Kar98k "Kargelschreiber" giftbox

I really like FreddyZ's Kar98k bolt action ballpoint pen, and i decided to gift one to a friend who's also both into military as well as various “novelty gadgets”.

Since the pen itself is quite a thin small easy to loose object, I got the idea to augment it with a suitable storage crate.

I did it entirely in a PrusaSlicer 2.5.0. the .3mf files might not work as good in a different program.
 

The insert is basically a block with 101% pen parts substracted. It needed some very slight scalpel tweaking because i didn't manage to block all the gaps and protrusion between the parts.
 

The crate is remixed from the 1/35 “Panther crate” from KubFire's set. In my print, the carry handles broke off almost instantly, because theyre modeled realistically unconnexted to their hinges. I added some more shapes to support them in the file shared.

The crate shoud fit the Kargelschreiber both with the stock straight bolt handle, and the bent one from AlbertPolak

I additonaly used two 11x28 RC model hinges, four 10x5x1,5 neodymium magnets and some foam block scraps.
