Skadis Spool Holder

This spool holder is designed to use the Skadis system to hold oversized filament rolls.  It uses the bearings and aluminum rod from the MMU2S upgrade kit to securely hold 1Kg rolls. This uses a 3 peg and a 2 peg of my dovetail system to provide plenty of contact between the spool holder and the Skadis board.

To assemble the holder insert the 2 bearings into the ends, then insert the aluminum rod through the hole in the back and through the roller into the bearing in the front.  Then slide the dovetail pegs into the slots which will cover up the hole and lock everything together.

Note: The tolerances are tight and once the holder is assembled it is almost impossible to take the bearings and aluminum rod out with out destroying the printed piece.

I designed this because other Skadis compatible spool holders are limited on the size of filament they can hold due to the spacing of the pegs.  Holding it out sideways eliminates that issue.
