I'm living in France, and buying fancy stuff like rectangular magnets of a specific size and plexiglass of 3mm is nearly impossible and quite expensive.
So I decided to create my proper enclosure, made of wood, melamine plated mdf and 4mm plexiglass. The door should open widely, and I wanted to be able to put it out easily.
After some hours spent on searching the web for some hinge I finally decided to create my own.
It's build around a nail with a diameter of 3,1 mm cut to length, which can easily be pulled out.
Fixation with screws m4, countersunk for the plexiglass, wooden screws for the wood.
Personally I printed it in ABS 0.2 layer height , 3 perimeters and 20% infill, but PETG will work fine too. Print it sturdy.
The plexiglass part I printed laying on the bed with support.
