A modern interpretation of classic cast iron sprinklers from the past.
Water enters the side of the chamber and spins. The water exiting the top vent is also spinning quickly and the angular velocity slings the water outward rather than making an upward spout.
This was designed in Fusion 360. The threads that connect to the garden hose are custom, not a standard ACME or NPT thread, they actually fit on a garden hose.
Just for fun, very slowly blow smoke (or just air) into the side, and note that it is vented perpendicular to the base (parallel to the spout). As the input velocity increases the exhaust is cast laterally because of its momentum.
Just print it with the base down. Don't scale it, as the hose threads will be off scale.
