I got tired of testing paint swatches out on scrap paper, so went looking for something to make a more permanent record. Valloric's model that I found was close to what I was looking for, but I made some modifications to improve the functionality, specifically by adding spot for labeling. Additionally I raised up the relief slightly as an aesthetic choice, and created two versions, one which is 5x4 and one which is 5x1

My personal approach was to paint, ink, and drybrush the larger relief section to have a record of what the color looks like with some basic shading, while the label is simply a few coats of the color otherwise untouched for a record of the ‘pure’ color.

It is an easy model to print. I would recommend using the variable layer height option to allow for some finer detail in the relief. Also isn't super important, but ironing can make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

Update: I added a design for a holder to keep the boards neat and tidy.
