I have a lot drill bits. Problem with regular “drill bit storages” is that you only have a place for one drill bit of each size which is not enought for me. I also want to store them in a drawer, so i needed something low profile. Also, gridfrinity is more about DISPLAYING stuff, so yes, this displays! :)

There is a module for each size containing 9 holes for drillbits. The basic idea is to have 3 of each assigned to stone, wood and metal drillbits. In some cases, i have more than 3 of each type, so i just store the leftovers in a box somewhere and refill this display storage from time to time. If you really need to, you can print multiple modules of the same size. Problem solved.

The sizes of most modules are chosen in a way that the drill bits do not exceed the module, so you can still place a module behind it (or read its label)

Each module has the size printed on them. Use a permanent marker to add some contrast.

I genereally recommend using lightning infill of 15%. That saves a huge amount of time and filemant. I also printed them with 1 0.6mm wall.

Fusion 360 Source is included, so you can spin your own sizes when needed.

Ps: you better start printing a single module to check if everything fits. If it does not, you can drill out the holes a bit, but its better to adjust the flow rate until you can easily slide in the drillbits.

Pps: show off your drillbit collection and post a make! Thanks!
