Stormtrooper Ice Cube Mold

I'll start off by saying that the base model (aka the busted up stormtrooper helmet) was made by someone else. I'd be happy to give credit for this remix, but I downloaded this years ago from who knows where and I'm not finding an original at the moment. The parts I designed are for 2 silicone ice molds that produce the pictured ice cube. I printed the mold parts and used some 2 part food grade silicone from smooth-on (Smooth-Sil 940 is what I used) to form the molds. I made the models in Onshape (linked here) so feel free to make any modifications you'd like. I filled in some gaps and areas that had large undercuts on the original helmet design to make it easier to remove the ice from the silicone mold. It takes a little convincing, but the ice does pop out of the mold without any issues. It comes out as well as ice really can when it comes to the quality of the details. I haven't really tried making the ice come out perfectly clear.

If I were to do this again, I would add some alignment features between the “trooper mold top” and “trooper mold base” parts just to make the silicone mold making process a little easier. Don't expect to be able to make more than 1 silicone mold from these printed parts. I destroyed my 3d printed mold to get the silicone free. 

Now that I'm looking at my print file, I did add generic parts in PrusaSlicer (spheres, slabs, boxes) to fill in gaps near the ear/behind the eye of the skull. I did use supports, but now with paint on supports, I would use less support than I did.
