My shifter had a lot of wiggle sideways, the "ball" of the shifter rod has a lot of room between the frame and the ball itself, when I put reverse or first gear the ball comes down and makes the selection of the gear a hell, same happens with other gears, on track days or "spirit" driving sometimes I put 4th instead 2th or 5th instead 3rd because this wiggle. And the feel of the shifter is crap...
It also the bushing of the side of the shifter that hold the lever of sideways movement goes backwards and makes the shifter had a "dead zone" of 2-3mm.
For all of this I designed a bushing to replace the black one with more sturdy construction and a bit taller to push the frame against the ball and a clip to retain the busing of the lever in his housing.
Photos of the clip are from V1, I upload directly the V2 version that makes the installation easier, the bushing its preslized with 3 different heights (5mm ,6mm, 7mm) I used the 6mm but I think 5,8 or 5.7 fits better.
The bushing you can resize only in Z to adapt your needs, I used 6mm height, stock black bushing its about 4,8mm. You can make it with less perimeters if you want a bushing that fits with more room to adapt your needs, solid bushing prevent crushing but its less adaptable.
Print orientation for clip
See images, its important to print as images because its the best orientation to avoid the clip snapping,
