I wanted to fit a vibration damper to the Y axis of the Prusa Mini but couldn't find a file where the damper would fit.
I sourced the .Step files for the original printable part for the Y plate mount and began modifying and found that there really wasn't a lot of room for the mount. Some trial and error later and the final attempt managed to fit the vibration damper to the printer and allow the bed to complete the full range of motion. it is a close fit but with some heatsinks fitted to the Y motor (enough room, I found, for 2 heatsinks) there is some noticeable difference noise and the motor does not overheat with the heatsinks, I have had no issues since and completed 7 constant days of printing with the modification (to test). I hope it works just as well for you all as it did for me!!
I printed it with the standard 0.4mm nozzle, in Black Geetech PLA and at 0.20mm layer height with 5 perimeters and 20 percent infill. Took 5 and a half hours but worked for me.
My Vibration dampers were 5.9/6 mm thick from flat face to face
