Details

The design offers 2 angles for attaching the shower head. One almost parallel to the wall and the other inclined forward about 15°. It has a tapered receptacle for the shower head with the dimensions: 23mm top, 18mm bottom, max. hose width: approx. 15mm. This should accommodate many/most shower heads.

Screws and cover plate

Uses two countersunk screws (4mm hole diameter, 25mm hole-hole distance) to mount to the wall. The holes are best placed in a tile joint. The cover plates slots into the holder after mounting and protects the screws from water/rust and also covers them from sight. The hole beneath the cover plate on the bottom ensures that water, which still managed to get behind the cover plate, can run off.

Printing

It was printed in PLA with a brim in a standing position (same orientation as it is mounted on the wall) and Prusament PLA standard settings. The layer height can be selected variably, depending on which surface roughness is desired on the slanted edges. I printed it with 0.15mm layers and it looks very good. Both the front and top surfaces can also be sanded very easily, if an even smoother finish is desired.

The design is based on a commercially available shower head holder, but offers more rigidity and durability.

Details

Das Design bietet zwei verschiedene Winkel für den Duschkopf, einmal fast parallel zur Wand und 15° nach vorn geneigt. Die Aufnahme für den Duschkopf ist entsprechend kegelförmig mit folgenden Maßen (circa): oben 23mm, unten 18mm, max. Schlauchbreite: 15mm. Damit sollten die meisten bzw. viele Duschköpfe damit kompatibel sein.

Befestigung und Abdeckung

Die beiden Schrauben zur Befestigung (4mm Durchmesser, 25mm Abstand) sind für Standarddübel (am besten in Fließenfuge) gedacht und versenkbar. Die Abdeckplatte kann nach dem Anbringen über die Schrauben geschoben werden und schützt diese vor Wasser und verdeckt gleichzeitig die Sicht darauf, damit das Ganze etwas schicker aussieht. Im Boden des Halters befindet sich ein Loch, damit Wasser, welches doch hinter die Abdeckplatte kommt, ablaufen kann.

Printing

Der Druck erfolgte mit PLA, 0.15mm Schichthöhe, in stehender Position (so wie es auch angebracht wird an der Wand) mit den Prusament PLA Standardeinstellungen. Die Schichthöhe kann variabel gewählt werden, je nach gewünschter Oberflächengüte. Mit 0.15mm sieht es aber schon sehr schick aus und die schrägen Seiten (oben und vorn) können auch nachträglich noch ganz einfach ein bisschen geschliffen werden, wenn man das möchte.

Das Design basiert auf einem kommerziell erhältlichen Duschkopfhalter, ist aber deutlich stabiler und langlebiger.
