Horizontal Baseball Bat Holder / Adjustable

I had a need to mount some custom bats and had more width than height so I mounted a few, offset from each other.

I needed to mount some custom built baseball bats in my office but I didn't have enough “top down” space.   Since width wasn't a problem I designed these hangers that use the weight of the bat and leverage to keep everything in place.  The mounts are adjustable as to make different size/width bats mount correctly.    There's a left handed and right handed mount design so my bats point left, right, left and right, mounted down a center line on the wall.  I put these onto a mount plate and secured that to the wall but these can be mounted directly if need be.  My bats had “protuberances” so the extra distance from the wall worked out great.

The curved mounting hooks are meant to grab the bat around the grip with the heavy part of the bat off to one side.  Again, it uses the one hook as a fulcrum and the other as a stop, each adjusted to keep the bat level.  Quick twist of the bat and out it comes.

Also, I've glued some black felt to the inside of the hooks, I didn't like the wood hitting the bare plastic.  Probably overthinking but, what the heck.

Printed everything with generic black PETG at .20 resolution.  Everything prints without supports.  The hooks print flat with their adjustment teeth facing up and the cleats print on their narrow end with the teeth towards the top.  I've enclosed some gcode files that worked for me, but, YMMV.

Like my design, how about a cup of coffee?
