COVID RC3:MX FACE SHIELD

UPDATE:

-Added the DXF file of the sketch to reproduce in laser cutter.
-Template of the shield also updated for cutting it on vinyl cutting machine using 10 pt. PVC plastic.

-Updated the template for cutting out the PVC / PET shield. Gives more stability and tension when assembled. Resized for better comfort.

Remixed version of the original Prusa RC3 design. The modifications were made trying to adjust to local, easily sourced materials and tools in Mexico. Some of the main modifications include:

• Round ends to use with elastic rubber bands easily and safely.
• Adaptation to use with a 3 hole punch available in many offices and households.
• Possible to use with letter or tabloid sized paper. (extra supports)
  -Modification of head rest to save material and reduce print time.
• The height reduced to 10 mm, yet comfortable.

Currently printing the 5 pz stack version in a MK2 a MK3 and an Anet A8 donate to local health professionals and hospitals.

Print instructions

1 piece model RC3:MX doesn't contain supports as there is no need.
5 piece model does include supports within the model.

Currently printing in PLA and PETG.
