I own a 2011 Nissan Versa SL. I noticed one day that I was unable to open the glove compartment. The handle was broken. After a google search and a few telephone calls later, it seemed that the 50 cent part would cost over $100 and require replacing the entire glove compartment door. I found instructions on how to open the door.
A. With a flathead screw driver, carefully pry off the handle (from the side)
B. Push down into the notch, the retention mechanism to open the glove compartment
C. There are 2 philips head screws holding the mechanism in place.
D. The "nub" on the spring mechanisms is fragile and breaks over time.

Orient the part vertical and enable support structures for the latch stand-off and the spring insert. Sliced in Cura at 200 um resolution with 100% infill in ABS
Cleaning up the print
The printed part should be cleaned up of any support material. The spring site should be drilled out to remove excess support material. The top of the part will need to be sanded (preferably with a dremel) to insure proper fit into the the latch mechanism. I vapor polished the part for 45 sec after sufficient sanding
