NFC Tag Keychains

Collection of NFC Tag Keychains available in 3 shapes:

• nfc-tag-teardrop: a 38 × 30 mm teardrop tag
• nfc-tag-rectangle: a 36 × 30 mm rectangle tag
• nfc-tag-square: a 32.4 × 32.4 mm square tag

Each tag has a threaded slot in the back made to accommodate both an NFC tag as well as the the nfc-tag-screw model which can be screwed in or out using a coin (less than 2 mm wide). The pocket left once closed in 0.6 mm high allowing you to use either a 25 mm NFC sticker or a 25mm NFC PVC card.

Assembly

To build a complete tag you will need to print one of the body model (either teardrop, rectangle or square) as well as a screw model. Once you have them both and depending on if you are using a 25 mm PVC card or a sticker you should either:

• Put your PVC card into the recess and screw in the back part using a coin
• Stick your tickers either in the recess on the body or to the screw before closing it

Printing

Depending on the tolerance of your printer you might need to adjust the scale of the screw (nfc-tag-screw.stl) to 99 or 98% if the fit is too tight. Other any of the model should be printed using the following recommanded settings.

• Layer Height: 0.1mm (up to 0.2mm though screw tolerance might be worse)
• Infill: 100%
• Raft / Supports / Brim: no
• Seam position: Aligned (recommended)
