I've had my Samsung Z Fold 3 for nearly a year so far and have wanted to mount it in my car quite some time but other projects always needed to take priority. I finally motivated myself to finish it a few weeks back and have been testing it with great success. My conditions for a mount were it had to allow for both closed (portrait) and open (widescreen) mode. For the mount all you need to print is the ZFold Mount file.
I also wanted it adjustable since not everyone's sitting angle and well car for that matter are the same. This is designed to offer 2 swivels on either end and a through hole attachment. I specifically made this to work with my vehicle specific mount https://www.printables.com/model/276249-chevy-ss-aka-holden-commodore-phone-mount-point but it could work with many other easy enough. For this style of attachment you'll need to print the 4 files with swivel in the name.
Before settling on the current swivel design I tried to make a ball style pivot work but found there was not enough range of motion for my use. I've included them here in case for someone else it works better. They are a little trickier to print clean but a dialed in printer should handle them fine. To use this style attachment you'll need to print 1 of the bolt side and nut side files and 2 of the ball mounts.
Unless you live somewhere cool or cold all the time you'll need to print these in a higher temp material. Mine were printed in CFPC and have held up well. My prototypes were in PLA and I left the car out in the sun for an afternoon and found a gooey pile waiting for me so use ABS or better.
