This is a strain relief arm based off of Voxel3D_Nederland's slide over concept. I did my best to minimize any play from the bed moving, and I think I accomplished that.

This is designed for for beds that have the center of the wiring 50mm from the edge of the bed. If you have a different offset, just let me know and I can add another model for you.

The part where the cable sits is 10mm above the top of the rolling plate.

Works with 5mm wide or slimmer zip ties.

How to attach:

  1. Take the bed off the roller plate
  2. Pre-tension the mounting arm with a zip tie. Tension it so that there's no play (once the arm is slid on). You may need to test fit a few times, tightening incrementally. Trim the zip tie once you have the right tension.
  3. Attach the bed, making sure the screw knob is centered in the hole on the bottom. The screw knob locks the arm into place. Make sure you tighten the knobs so the bed sits lower than the nozzle when you home the Z axis.
  4. Level the bed
  5. Zip tie the wiring to the arm

I printed in ABS scaled to 102%. PETG or ASA are recommended as well. PLA should be fine if you're not using an enclosure. PLA doesn't need any scaling; I'm not sure about PETG.
