12cm (4.7 inch) plate stand

Perfect for a plate I wanted to display. It does - in my case - very easily tip over to the rear; so I just placed the plate close to the wall so it cannot fall.

Perfect size for my plate.

Easy to print and works great! I'm using it to hold up an old school plastic BMX numberplate. :) (edited)

I printed at 101% and didn’t have too much trouble using the filament as a hinge. It fits my 16 cm plates comfortably!

Printed both pieces flat on the bed. No post processing required. Whole print was 24 minutes. Took a little wiggling to get the filament through the hinge, but it went in without too much of a fuss. Thank you 🙏 (edited)

No issues printing and looks great in black. The holes for the filament may need to be drilled on a print to allow the filament to fit. I had some recycled PET filament lying around that is slightly smaller that worked just fine.

Thank you for nice stands 😌😌😌 i printed 4 stands in one time. 50% infill. Connected all parts with glue - holes was filled, but probably problem in my settings i think.

And now my plates can live new live at new position 😁 (edited)
