Serious Edge Banding Trimmer (cheap utility knife blades)

This edge banding trimmer is a lifetime tool that works pretty well.
The tool make a perfect trim in seconds, is Very stable, especially on starting.
You can reverse the blade when dulled. The trimmer allows up to 4mm thick banding.
The size of the tool is made at purpose to allow a good grip to apply heavy pressure on the edge.

2x Brass inserts M3 OD4.3mm height <6mm (I used 4mm)
1x Standard Utility Knife Blade*

If you use hardwood as banding material, you will probably need both a left hand and a right hand version because of the direction of the grain. To get the left hand version, just mirror the parts on your slicer software.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Snap out the cylindrical supports from the presser. Drive the inserts in the handle from the back with the help or a longer screw (don't over-tight them), then remove the screw. Repeat last step for the second insert. Put the corresponding screws into the presser. Place the blade in position and secure with the presser. Enjoy.

*NOTE : some utility blades may have different size or notches. This model uses the type Stanley which may be considered as the standard.
