Designed to fit snug over the Future Motion Onewheel XR/Pint hub rims to protect them from scratching or even breaking. Print using 98A TPU.
Check out my blog post for detailed instructions on how to print and install.
If you just want the specific print settings, this is what I use for the Cura slicer. The support configuration is very important, mainly so that you can pull the support out of the groove when printed. You may need to do some tests and tweak the settings to make sure it works for you.
- Walls > Wall Line Count: 10 - Makes the whole top layer consist of only concentric wall lines for a nice clean look.
- Walls > Z Seam Alignment: Random - Makes the Z seam scattered around the perimeter for each layer and doesn’t form a line going across the Saver.
- Top/Bottom > Bottom Layers: 40 - No infill throughout the model, the inner layers (with a wall thickness of 10 lines) consist of the interleaving “Lines” pattern, improving rigidity a bit.
- Support > Support Z Distance: 0.2mm
- Support > Support X/Y Distance: 0.6mm
- Support > Support Pattern: Zig Zag
- Support > Support Density: 25%
- Support > Support Interface Pattern: Grid
- Support > Support Interface Density: 100%

- Made the rim saver a bit thicker on the out-facing sides and around the outer perimeter to improve rigidity.
- Improved the fit over the rim.
- Now optimized to be printed at 0.8mm line width (at least in Cura the top slices clean for me).
This one I print with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.8mm line width with the following Cura settings:
- Walls > Wall Line Count: 13
- Support > Support Z Distance: 0.4mm
- Support > Support X/Y Distance: 0.8mm
- Support > Support Pattern: Zig Zag
- Support > Support Density: 25%
- Support > Support Interface Pattern: Lines
- Support > Support Interface Density: 50%
