*Update 18Mar2024 - Added flying/floating bases for 75mm and 100 mm meant for resin printing.

While I used to simply print out 3mm x diameter discs for my miniature bases on my FDM in PLA and super gluing them to the top, I realized that was a lot of PLA going into them. I tend to avoid printing the bases in resin with the miniature since PLA is cheaper and more reliable in my experience.

These are printed with the tops down so supports can be avoided. I generally print them in batches when needed. Files are set for printing. If you start to have issues with warping on the larger diameters, consider printing on the edge with supports and a small raft.

I have printed the 25 mm a few times via resin, mainly because I was in a hurry to get a model out and ready to paint and the FDM was loaded up with other models. I have placed a supported model for SLA printing in the mix as well.

Note: Picture with unpainted miniatures includes miniatures from MZ4250 (https://www.patreon.com/mz4250), the 25 mm base in this publish and material efficient dungeon tiles are from my own unpublished design. I have used Locite Super Glue to great effect on gluing the miniatures to the bases.

Note II: Meshmixer can be used to easily chop of the base to any STL file if the shells are not separate. Edit \u2192 Plane Cut if Edit \u2192 Separate Shells doesn't work.
