When it rains, the water pools in my mailbox and the mail soaks up the water before it can drain. Instead, I printed two of these to cover the entire floor of my mailbox so my mail can watch the lazy river of water flow underneath. I glued them together so they are one long piece, and I put some magnets at the back so it has a good grip on the mailbox and won't slide out unless you want it to.
Since I've started using this, my mail is dry! Let me know if this works for you…best to measure the width of your mailbox first, then use your slicer to adjust the width (Y Axis) and apply the same scale to the X Axis, but leave the Z axis at .5 (~13mm).
