Printed easy using the two grouped part files and went together no trouble. The skateboard bearings were quite hard to push into the holders but that's probably a good thing so they do their job! I've left the wires messy but will clean it up at some point.

EDIT: Used a Pro Micro to save a few pennies, obviously it's slightly shorter than the slot for the Micro but it otherwise fit. (edited)

like the design a lot. had to tweak a few things. used the bearings I had on hand, a raspberry pi pico(utilizing CircuitPython), and removed fastening features so i could just glue everything into slots. also using zipties to hold the bearings in while the excess ziptie that you would normally cut off acts as a spring. pretty fun build. thanks!

oh i'm using this as a simple key input to press and release a key when i tilt the pedal back and forth for push-to-talk in voice chat. (edited)

Fantastic idea and model! The tolerances are very precise, it all fits together superbly.

I used a different make of the Arduino Micro so I remodeled the base slightly to fit. I also didn't have a led pushbutton so I just used a normal one.

I might remix this in the future encasing the electronics and securing the arduino a little more.

I have tried to change the name of the midi device that it appears as, as suggested in this thread (https://forum.arduino.cc/t/giving-a-custom-name-to-the-usb-keyboard-mouse-device-emulated-by-the-atmega32u4/615013/31) but I can't make it work. The menus doesn't appear for me in the IDE after adding to the boards.txt file. I'll post back here if I find out.

Thanks again for a great model!

@johnbbb_310488 Cool make!

I'm not sure how to change the name for this board (though, I did change it for a Teensy 2 board in a different project https://www.printables.com/model/271198-motorized-fader-usb-midi).
Good luck! Please post updates.

I agree that the model could use some casing. I planed to do it at some point, but that was more than a year ago 😅.
I'll be happy to see cool remixes 👍

What resistance potentiometer you suggest? I'm guessing all could work, but asking to make sure.

@eraldylli_177462 Good question. I've used B100K (B means it's linear). For example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001421294754.html. I've now added it to the documentation. (edited)

@NadavHalwany I see. Thanks for speedy reply. Printing the model as I type. Looks very promising. I hope a Nano will fit instead of the Micro, with not a lot of effort.
