My compressed version of a 1:29 scale centerbeam flat car. It's only 24 7/8" (~60' in 1:29) but I think it captures the look.
I drew the model using the dimensions of the 73' BNSF car as a guide but only used 4 of the 6 "standard" strut sections.
Pictured model has a simple frame made from a piece of PVC 613mm x 93mm x 5mm thick (sold as 2'x4' drop ceiling tile at Lowes - Genesis #504838 Model #745-00) and 425mm length of 1/2" square steel tube (Hillman #29049 Model #11736).
I prefer to use 6mm ABS rod for truck posts. (Print the bringyourownposts version) https://www.amazon.com/Swpeet-Assortment-Diameter-Material-Architectural/dp/B09YPY6LF2?th=1
NOTE: If you have trouble printing the End Strut successfully, Try the bit more robust Suess Version.
