Description

PDF

These are two different versions of my downforce clamps.
They use a clamp angle of 45° to split the clamping force in two directions (in and down).
Check out this Animation!

Version one is for mounting on one rail only.
Version two is designed for two rails (40mm apart).
I made the version 2 especially for my Spoil and Mounting Board for CNC (feel free to check that out as well).

Choose the version you like and print base + head.

Material list:

  • For mounting base + head of a clamp together:
    • 1pcs M5x25 internal hex bolt
    • 1pcs M5 nut
    • 2pcs Aluminum rod or tube OD 10mm length 35mm
    • 2pcs springs OD 15mm length 10mm (I cut them off a longer spring)

  • For mounting one clamp to your machine table (depending on clamp version):
    • 1 or 2pcs M5xWhatYourTableNeeds
    • 1 or 2pcs washer 5.3 (ID) 9.8 (OD)
