Note 5/11/2024: I have added a “reinforced” version for TPU that adds a thicker lip to the pouch opening and a matching “rib” about ⅓ from bottom of pouch. Intent is to make pouch a bit stiffer and hold mag a bit more firmly. I have not tested it in PETG.
This is a remix of the AICS pouch by cannoli-slayer. I made the pouch dimensions slightly larger to improve the fit of magazines when pouch is printed with harder plastics like PETG instead of the original makers design meant to be done in TPU. I also slightly dropped the pouch relative to the belt when my son complained his 10 round mags were pressing into his side.
the stl AICS MAG HOLDER TPU is my most recent update of v2. It is slightly larger and the corners at the top of the belt loops are beveled a bit. I made it in TPU and added a "U" of adhesive velcro loop material on the inside to give me the drag I wanted on the mags. Also reduces wear on mags. After playing with both versions, I concur with canoli-slayer that TPU is really the way to go on either mag pouch, especially on V2 since there is slight variations in sized between steel and plastic AICS mags.
