Description

PDF

I needed a downward facing mount for a fixed-focus webcam that would allow me to scan barcodes and QR codes easily. This is my solution to that problem.

Both a wall-mounted and table-standing version is included. It is fitted for a “LogiLink Conference HD USB webcam”.

Printing instructions

  • PETG recommended.
  • I recommend slicing and printing the provided 3mf files or printing the gcode directly. I've gone through several iterations to make it print with as little support as possible.
  • Print in 0.20 mm layer height recommended.

Other notes

Machine screws: The table-stand version requires 2 x M5x16. The wall-mount version requires 1 x M5x16.

The provided cable clamps squeeze nicely into the fittings allowing for a bit of cable management.

The camera screw I've designed works, but I would consider getting a “real one” made of metal as I've had quite a bit of trouble getting it to screw into the webcam properly.
