To make multicolored vases, you don't need to weld filament. Just put pieces of different colors into your PTFE tube. As there is a chance of them becoming stuck (ask me how long it takes to get ~40 pieces of filament unstuck in a 150mm tube) it is well advised to have a way to separate the tube.
This part has a M10 thread and is 4mm on the inside. Just use the "default" PC4-01 / PC4M10 fittings, put your tube parts in there and you have a nice smooth connection for your filament to travel through.
