All parts were finished in the same manner.rnrn1. Parts were sanded using increasing grits of sandpaper, the final sanding was wet sanding to obtain a near to smooth finish.rnrn2. Parts were coated with a thin layer of XTC3D to obtain a glossy smooth finish.rnrn3. Two layers of Rustoleum rattle can grey primer were used to coat the parts and further smooth all surface blemishes.rnrn4. Black surfaces were coated with Rustoleum gloss black rattle can paint. Silver surfaces were coated with Rustoleum metallic grey rattle can paint.rnrn5. All final painting (Red; Green; Blue; Gold) was completed using a thin paint brush and water based acrylic paints.rnrn6. The individual components were added to the main boxes by gluing them down into the respective recessed sections using cyanoacrylate (CA glue).rnrn7. Finally all paint colours were sealed in by coating the completed parts with two thin layers of clear lacquer.rnrnIn order to make the accessories wearable various sections of elastic and nylon webbing was stuck to the insides of the accessories using hot glue and the webbing was stitched together as required with some quick snap buckles being included to allow for easy attachment and removal from the wearer.

How I Designed This

All components were designed using Fusion 360 and were put together using online reference material. Measurements of the components were estimated based on online information and some scaling done using online images from the movies.
