Lean Shield, Medical Protecion faceplate is a complete rebuild inspired by Prusa original source files, but designed to be quick to print and use the least amount of material possible.

This should print in around 20-30min and takes about 11g of filament

The Plate shield can be cut from projection mica, just rename the file extension from dxf to pdf (prusaverse does not allow pdfs) or download the blueprints from here: https://a360.co/39i4ZUd

Print instructions

Supports are not necessary.

  • Print is designed for 0.4mm nozzle
  • Print at 0.3mm layers
  • Make sure you use Surface mode (CURA)
  • Set flow to 200% after layer 1
  • Use 3x Skirt
  • Can be printed in PLA, but not autoclavable

For medical use ideally print it from autoclavable PP, Nylon or PETG.
