My glasses broke so I designed new temples for them. Far from a bulletproof design, but it does the job.
Printing is not easy because the hole is very small. I recommend the following settings with PETG:
- Print one by one to minimize nozzle travel on top layers
- Reduce speed for last layers (add custom gcode e.g.
M220 S20
for 20%) - Print without supports, with the wider side of the temple on the build plate
- Use a small nozzle. I managed to make it work with 0.6mm but I had to disable the new Arachne generator as it was introducing artifacts
- Enable ironing if you'd like
