Batarang Shroud for Throwing Knife

I am working on making a few somewhat functional and realistic Batman gadgets, and one of those was a batarang which could be thrown like an actual throwing knife and have weight to it. My solution was to make a shroud which follows the contours of a batarang and could go around a throwing knife. Simply buy these knives and glue both sides of the shroud on with E6000 glue. The batarang shroud probably wont survive many throws, I have already blunted the ears of mine with just a couple of throws, but it looks cool and has weight so I accomplished my goal.
