iPhone 6s Shade

3-piece clip-on sun shade for the iPhone 6s with or without a case.

SolidWorks source file included.

I designed this primarily for use with the DJI Mini 2 drone - hence the shape of the cut-outs on the top plate (to allow for the controllers clamping rods and to allow access to the power and charging points.

You can use this with or without the side panels.  The sides push onto the top panel with the odd little projections lining up with the curved rear corners of the top.  And it obviously will pack flat to fit in a pocket (or the Mini 2 case).

Note that the long groove on the top plate is just for the Mini 2 controller's rubber grips.

PRINT SETTINGS

The 3mf files are aligned and scaled properly.  If you're using the STLs align the parts with the flat side down and scale to 101% for PETG.

Material:  I used the excellent recycled Prusa PETG.  PLA would be fine but may be too brittle
Layer height:  0.15mm
Infill:  100% (otherwise the clips may snap)
Supports:  Only under the groove under the top plate.
Skirt & brim:  None

I gave the inside surfaces a couple of coats of matt varnish to reduce reflections.
