FlikFighters is a game of space combat for two to six players. Players move space ships and weapons with a finger flicking action. Everything you need to play (except dice and a playing surface) is included.

Download rulebook here.

For a complete game, print the following items for each team. Print each team’s ships (A and B models) in different colors. Print bases in a light color. Also print a set of 12 asteroids in grey. For a minimal game, you can just print one of each type of ship (fighter, interceptor, gunship, bomber) for each team.

  • 3 fighters and fighter bases
  • 2 interceptors and interceptor bases
  • 2 gunships and gunship bases
  • 1 bomber and bomber base
  • 6 laser tokens
  • 3 mine tokens
  • 4 torpedos
  • set of activation tokens (even or odd numbers)

Also available for the re-mixers out there are blank versions of each ship top. Combine them with your favorite spaceship 3D model to make your own custom version of the game.

If you enjoy this game, please drop a comment and upload pictures of your builds. The game rules PDF has a link to tip me on PayPal.

I hope you have fun with this game!

Notes:

If you don't plan to paint your ships, use two different bright colors.

*Use white or light grey for the ship 'base' and highlight the numbers using a black Sharpie marker. Or for ‘dark mode’ print base in black and highlight with a silver Sharpie.*

Asteroids can be scaled up 120% to 150% to provide more variety.

Post-Printing

Peg tab cleanup and assembly

You may find you need to do a little cleanup of the base peg tab and the hole in the ship top before assembly. To assemble, just align the tab and slide in. Turn to you see the highest number in the circle hole (if you turn too far you will see an X for a destroyed ship).

How I Designed This

Modeling

The ship bases and blank tops were designed using OpenSCAD. I then combined the tops with some pre-existing spaceship models. Asteroids where modeled with Blender.
