First of all thanks to dr.dentz for this version, which includes a housing. Something quite important to reduce the chance of wiping whatever got on the handle touching part somewhere else.
I just added two 0.3 mm bridging layers to the housing model (a support allternative suggested b Angus from Maker's Muse), so it can be printed on the "side" (see picture; .stl file). The layers cracked, when I pushed in the handle and button pusher, allowing the locking mechanism part to move/function.
Thereby the total print duration is is reduced from 2 h 4 min to 1 h 35 min on my prusa mk3s. Placing it diagonally on the printbed reduces the duration to 1 h 33 min.
Standard Prusament PLA settings
Nozzle 0.4 mm
Layer height 0.3 mm
Infill 15% gridline
no raft, no brim on smooth PEI sheet
Placed diagonally on printbed
The author remixed this model.
