Hi, this is my attempt to hopefully reduce the spread of the coronavirus or other germs, I call it the "Savegrabber".
It is a hook-like device that allows the opening and closing of doors without touching the handle. There is also a tip to press buttons in the elevator or light switches.
The touching surfaces are designed to be as small as possible, so the contamination should be low. My idea is to wear the Savegrabber with a retractable key chain on the belt or on a bag.
If everyone would use this, I think this could be an additional barrier to germs.
The print in PLA is sufficient and you can clean it using alcoholic disinfect.

So please print as much as you can and give it to others. If you have ideas to optimize - please do so. The Savegrabber has been designed in Fusion360. I produced also an stl file.
V2 is designed to be a bit stronger - print with triangular infill 55%.
UPDATE: now it has been designed more roundish and it should fit to handles in public transportation for diameter up to 31mm. This is the file savegrabber_rd.stl

Print instructions

The print of this part is very easy. No support or brim needed. I print it with 55% triangular infill and 0.2mm layer height. Then the Savegrabber is suffiently strong.
