The Model Y has a spot under the main display for two phones, but mine doesn't have a pass-through for a charging cable. If I plug a charging cable into the phone, the phone will no longer sit in its designated spot, and slides all over the place.
This is an adapter that sits in the bottom of the phone rest and lifts the bottom of the phone up and out without letting it slide out. This exposes the charge port on the phone so you can leave it there while charging. Raising the bottom end of the phone also allows airflow under the phone, keeping it cooler.
To make it super easy to print without supports, I sliced it in half horizontally. Print both pieces and then glue them together via their flat faces, using super glue or some other glue suitable for the plastic you are using. The top has two versions, ‘normal’ and one with wider openings to handle bigger phones or phones with big cases.
