Please heart, comment, and post makes! Seeing what you all use and how you use it makes it worth making more designs!
V2 Update info at bottom:
I've been wanting to print a case to hold Switch Cartridges anyway, but I decided rather than reprint the outside, reuse the boxes I already have that the cartridges came in. I figured this was a little more “reduce reuse recycle” since anyone with Nintendo switch games will have the boxes either in a closet, or sent to a landfill.
So, this is an insert that will fit into a switch box you already have and allow it to hold up to 12 game cartridges. I've printed it (15% infill) and had great results, but I really liked the idea of no top or bottom layers so the infill you choose will create a design into the container (also will weigh less and use much less filament)
I've also attached a JPEG that you could print to replace the case insert you already have if you don't want to use the one that your game came with. (The insert is 219x160mm (8.25x6.375in) if you would like to design your own. (I'd love to see some fun designs uploaded as remakes!)
(Cartridge cases have tabs for holding papers and such, you will need to cut these off, using the edge cutting tool you probably got with your 3d printer for cutting filament will work perfect, picture showing the tabs removed)
v2:
-Cartridge slots are smaller giving a slightly better hold, so they don't fall out as easy.
-Divots have been added so you can push down on the left side for easier removal.
-Cartridge slots now all line up equally.
-Tighter tolerances around the current cartridge space and edges, better fit and hold.
