This is yet another remix of the faceshield designed by Erik Cederberg at 3DVERKSTAN.
It has been remixed in a collaboration with the the local Council Elder Care department professionals.
Specifically they wanted a change for the "drip tray" size and I made the contact point with the forehead wider, so it felt better to wear.
I include some extra STL files.
One is a measuring guide for the standard european 2-hole holepunch to find the correct setting for the end stop. And in case your end stop can't adjust correctly, I have included an extra end stop you can attach with some sticky stuff (adhesive tape/pads or glue).
Also included is a guide in English.
So far I have produced about 1400 frames to our local elder care and private citizen. (edit 20200928).
And if you have a printer with a PEI-sheet, you can dramatically reduce the cooling down period, if you hold the sheet onto a window glass. It dissipates the heat within 30 seconds.
In other words. You can detach the print much sooner without damaging the PEI-sheet.
(so happy I "invented" this. I will use that method forever and ever.)
OH. I nearly forgot.
When you set up the hole punch, it is important that the center holes fit snugly to the taps.
In fact it is BETTER to have the holes slightly too close together (about 1mm) than too far apart.
