Fishing V rod rest

This is the basic fishing V front rod rest. It's made out 2 parts - rod rest with hexagonal hole and threaded insert that's glued into the hole. Thread is BSF 3/8 which is standart for fishing poles.

If you face some problems I recommend printing both pieces separately so thread is nice and smooth with print setting bellow.

Material should be for outdoor use. I used PETG. I recommend 0,2mm QUALITY profile in PrusaSlicer

Rod rest

• supports: yes
• nozzle and layer height - doesn't matter. I used 0,4mm nozzle and 0,2mm height
• perimeters: 3
• Infill: 25%
• print orientation: flat

Threaded insert

• supports: no
• nozzle: 0,4mm
• layer height: 0,2mm is Ok. I recommend 0,15mm height
• perimeters: 3
• Infill: 25%
• print orientation: standing
• brim: I recommend 2mm
