This mounting block suits the Skywatcher (or Saxon) Mak 180 telescope, it attaches where the guidescope dovetail mount point.
As this area is on the tube and slightly tapered and this block has a slight angle in the base to bring the upper surface into coaxial alignment with the OTA.
2x M4 Screws 10-12mm should suffice.Use a washer if screws have narrow heads. Use Philips head or socket head screws.
I made a custom bracket to hold a vintage 200mm F4 lens I use as a guidescope; this base piece is a portion of that model. Whilst my bracket would be of little use for the community (unless you have a Pentax Takumar 200mm/F4 M42 lens) I felt this piece might be useful for someone wanting to make their own accessory mount.
