DT1990/DT1770 Outer Slider plastics

Hi, this is my custom model for the outer slider plastics for the dt1990 and dt1770 headsets which is currently (aside from this now) only available from Beyerdynamic as part of a 40-euro slider replacement kit.

The part put into use by myself is printed using Esun PLA+ with 15% infill and 5 perimeters.

To affix this part to a headset you will need…

A. a soldering iron or some sort of heat press tool.

B. 2x M3 brass heat-set inserts.

C. 2x M3x10 cap head bolts.

Use in conjunction with “Beyerdynamic DT 1770/1990 Pro headband wire cover” by Dread1187 on this same site. or use your original plastic parts if they are still servicable. 

This has just been designed and printed - it may not be amazing long term, I do not know, I will update here if it breaks (as of 13/08/2022 at 22:40 GMT) best of luck, and hopefully it's a cheaper solution to a somewhat common issue.
